DAY JOB: STUDENT
Adegoke Omoluyi, our next fashion influencer, is an Arts Major student from Toronto, Canada. Originally from exotic Nigeria, Adegoke can only be described as stylish, charming, and sarcastic. His biggest fashion influence is his father, he slowly became interested in fashion after seeing his father’s old university photos, and his trendy but unique flair. His fashion spark came at a young age. As Adegoke describes it, he was inspired when a classmate brought an issue of GQ to school and he was hooked ever since. “I just marvelled at all the outfits and pictures, my mind was blown by all the possibilities!”
You may think his dapper outfits require a large budget – in fact, the opposite is true. Adegoke has an economic approach to shopping – what he calls the “look rich, shop cheap” way of buying clothes. He ventures to Zara and Oak+Fort for his outfits.

His favourite men’s accessory is the watch. “It will always catch the eye and gives a nice appearance.”
Adegoke believes him getting into the fashion scene helped him find ways to express himself and also appreciate others. “I also see fashion in everything, even in the most mundane outfits.”
Outside of Instagram and fashion, Adegoke also has a huge love for autos. “I consider myself a major petrolhead. I have owned a few interesting cars and made money flipping cars in the past. My favourite car is a Mini Cooper. After watching the Italian Job, I always wanted one and I eventually got one, it’s such a fun car.”
