This rare gem was made in the early 1970s, and there are only three that are known to exist. It was publicly sold at the Christie’s “A Rolex Afternoon” in Geneva for $628,572 USD, 25% over its original estimate. Despite not having a serial number, it is indeed confirmed and produced by Rolex’s factory.
The white gold Rolex Submariner has a white gold case and a dive bezel that knurls both directions. With the faded blue nipple dial and gold details, the watch finishes with a bark finish.
