Unique watches are gems, but watches that leave people in awe are like ruby– mysterious and captivating. Glashütte Original is sure capturing collectors’ eyes because of their renewed Sixties Iconic Square Collection.
The original Sixties Iconic Square Collection was made in the 60s’ but Glashütte Original decided to bring it back and make it even better. The real spotlights are on the watches’ dials. Each dial is handmade in Glashütte Original’s factory, using ’60s traditional watch-making methods and tools to preserve the artisanal style. Its rich coloured enamels are carefully layered before a black lacquer layer is brushed over the finished watch.
The collection has five colours: Sixties Iconic Forest, Sixties Iconic Ocean, Sixties Iconic Graphite, Sixties Iconic Tangerine and Sixties Iconic Fire. All watches are powered by the manufactory automatic Caliber 39-34, featuring characteristic attributes of fine watchmaking in the Glashütte tradition. Not only that, the new Sixties Iconic Graphite collection has a filigree patterned face, making it supremely outstanding on the wrist.
The renewed vintage watch finishes with what seems like a Louisiana-sourced alligator straps. The detailed straps add texture and attitude to a very minimalist watch.
There are only 25 sets of the dial timepieces available in the world. For more information about Glashütte Original newest watches, visit here.
