This isn’t BAPE’s first yo-yo product. Back in 2014, BAPE did a collaboration with Coca-Cola that featured a red yo-yo with the ape mascot drinking a Coke. BAPE is returning this summer with an updated yo-yo design.
The BAPE yo-yo is an all-over black, with contrast white lettering and logo. The yo-yo has an updated modern design to it, compared to its 2014 predecessor. Compared to the rounder silhouette of 2014, the 2017 version is sleeker in design.
